  • Ackowledgement of Responsibility

I understand that the volunteer work I am applying for will entail time of preparation which will have components of Vincentian spirituality (in the tradition of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac) and I am willing to participate in the Eucharist at least weekly with the community overseas. I commit to daily prayer and reflection and honest apostolic reflection with my community members.

I understand that I commit myself to additional participation in VLM when I return. This will include a follow up retreat in the fall (October 5-7, 2017). I commit to actively assisting VLM in the recruitment of future VLM candidates and to the continued support of my site in Kenya or Ethiopia.
